Kids Mobility Network accepts donations of durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, gait trainers, standers, and other pediatric equipment. Equipment must be in good condition and from reputable manufacturers. Please contact us to discuss your equipment donation.
To receive equipment, families need to complete an application form and provide a letter of medical necessity from a healthcare professional. Once submitted, our team reviews the application and matches the child with appropriate equipment from our inventory. Contact us to begin the application process.
Kids Mobility Network is a non-profit organization that operates on the generous donations of individuals and organizations. Your donation is 100% tax deductible. You can make a monetary donation through our donate page, or contact us about other ways to contribute including equipment donations, vehicle donations, or corporate sponsorship.
Yes, Kids Mobility Network is one of the USA's leading providers of therapeutic recreation equipment for children and adults. We have developed our therapeutic recreation program to utilize specific programs available in some states to capture funding to reduce and sometimes eliminate families' out of pocket expense. At delivery, we ask families to pay a small service fee to help us keep our organization operating. While we give our clients the expensive equipment, the service fee is necessary to cover the expenses of reconditioning, sanitizing, customizing the equipment to the applicant's specific needs, and providing a full seating service. The service fee varies depending on the type and complexity of the equipment.
Yes, Kids Mobility Network is able to ship product to locations in the United States of America (USA). We do not ship outside the USA. Due to the bulky nature of medical equipment, shipping is typically done via freight carrier and can cost several hundred dollars. An alternative is to travel to our Denver location to pick up equipment, where we can also provide expert fitting and positioning.
We provide a wide variety of durable medical equipment including wheelchairs (manual and power), gait trainers, walkers, standers, adaptive tricycles, recumbent trikes and quads, hand cycles, jog strollers, bike trailers, activity chairs, bath chairs, toilet chairs, and much more.
